'One Way Ticket' album
Hailing from Edinburgh, Scotland, David William was a relative latecomer to music, picking up a guitar for the first time when he was 18 years old. Inspired to do so by the Britpop scene of the time, he became obsessed with music new and old and soon began writing songs.
After recording his vocal and guitar tracks at his home studio, David hired us to write and record drums, bass, keyboards and orchestral arrangements for his album.
'That's How It Goes' & 'She's Still There'
Dougie Rice is a solo artist whose musical interest is as varied as the songs on the album, with many influences spread over three decades of contemporary music. Artists such as Ry Cooder, John Martyn, Edwin Collins, Paul Simon and Donald Fagen have influenced many of the songs.
Using his original 4-track home recordings as a demo we arranged and recorded 15 backing tracks for Dougie's album 'Holidays' . After we recorded guitars, drums, bass, keyboards, brass and orchestral parts Dougie added his vocals to complete the album.
'Little Tears' & 'After All'
