Dave Hume "Circus"
Composer Dave Hume asked Conrad Productions to arrange and record 13 songs for his musical, in styles ranging from a circus band to blues rock.

The Tame Brother's circus has come to town and the Ringmaster welcomes the audience, introducing the wild ones.
However, after the performance, we hear the plight of the Wild Ones at the hands of the Tame Ones.
They vent their dissatisfaction with their lot and express their longing to be free.
Their chance comes when the Ringmaster, in trying to quell the disturbances, lashes out at them and is driven away by the Wild Ones who celebrate their victory.
The Wild Ones vow not to follow the ways of the Tame and to respect each other.

This is a tale of those who win but also fail. Off on an adventure searching for a Holy Grail. Those who have the power over those who feel the pain. Those who will begin The Ring again.   Circus Ticket

Fighting for freedom with an ideology,
Formed in an age when they were running wild and free,
They lose their chains but they are all forever bound,
They can't escape, the ring is always around,

They will learn that a ring, to move, must turn,
To never come apart, its end must always be its start,
Time will tell if it all will turn out well,
Like a circle always bends you know the circus never, never, ever ends,

Destined to go round the way the earth goes round the sun,
They think they've started something but it's already been done,
They believe they see a vision of the promised land,
But it's just the sawdust in the sand.
